Cover and microwave on
high 5 minutes, basting once
with orange sauce. Add
asparagus. Cover and
microwave on high 7 to 8
minutes or until vegetables
are crisp-tender. Serve with
mashed potatoes. Yield: four
servings.
*Tip: Substitute the same
amount of cornstarch for
potato starch, if not prepared
during Passover.

Blueberry Muffins
For Passover
1 /3 cup softened margarine
3 /4 cup sugar
3 /4 cup egg substitute or 3
eggs
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 cup cake meal
1 /4 cup potato starch
1 to 1 1/2 cups blueberries,
frozen, unthawed
1 tbsp. cinnamon
1/4 cup sugar
In medium bowl beat
margarine and sugar until
creamy. Add egg substitute or
eggs, beat well. Add vanilla,
beat in cake meal and potato
starch. Fold in blueberries.
Line 6 microproof muffin cups

Bel Canto
Sings In Flint

Bel Canto Choral Society
will be featured in a special
program presented Sunday at
Congregation Beth Israel in
Flint.
The 40-member women's
ensemble, under the direction
of Denise Ogden and accom-
panied by Rochelle Barr, will
perform a variety of classical
and semi-classical choral
compositions. Soloists includ-
ed in this program will sing
melodies welcoming Pesach.
A second program featuring
Bel Canto Choral will be held
4 p.m. April 30 at St. Paul's
Cathedral in Detroit. Dinner
is optional. Advance tickets
are required for the April 30
choral concert.
