Charles and Frances Driker

Driker Fund Concert Due

A gala concert presented by
the Charles and Frances
Driker Fund for Yiddish
Culture will take place on
Thursday at 1 p.m. in Jaffe
Hall.
Music of Jewish composers
for soprano and four-hand
piano will be performed by
Joseph Gurt, Fedora Horowitz
and Marilyn Krim. This pro-
gram is under the auspices of

the Yiddish Culture Club of
the Jewish Community
Center and initiates cultural
programming sponsored by
the Driker Fund for the
Center.

Admission is free. Reserva-
tions are required.
Refreshments will be served.

Features Talk, Guests

The senior adult depart-
ment of the Jimmy Prentis
Morris Building of the Jewish
Community Center will pre-.
sent a special session of the
Music Lovers Hour to be held
today at 1:15 p.m. in Jaffe
Hall.
Herman Chapin, Detroit
Symphony Orchestra docent,
will introduce the music to be
played at the April 14 Coffee
Concert. He also will in-
troduce Chuck Dyer, Detroit
Symphony Orchestra ad-
ministrator, who will have
special surprise guests with
him. Coffee will be served
following the program in
room 12. Everyone is invited

Passover Focus
Of Senior Adults

The senior adult depart-
ment of the Jewish Com-
munity Center will have a
program on how to have a low
cholesterol Passover on Mon-
day at 1 p.m. in room 239 in
the Maple/Drake Building.
Low cholesterol Passover
dishes wil be prepared and
recipes shared. Demonstrat-
ing low cholesterol techni-
ques will be Beverly Peiss,
Sinai Hospital dietician, and
Michelle Litinsky, exercise
specialist and graduate of the
Cordon Bleu Culinary School.
There is a nominal fee. For in-
