Ann Arbor — Police are in-
vestigating an alleged act of
vandalism at the The
Michigan Daily, the student
newspaper at the University
of Michigan.
Students discovered spray-
painted messages reading
"Jew Haters Will Pay," "PLO-
Daily" and "Long Live
Israel" at the newspaper of-
fice last Friday.
The messages follow
charges by Jewish students
that the paper's editorial
policy is frequently anti-
Semitic. Recent editorials in
The Daily call Zionism racism
and allege that Israel resettl-
ed Ethiopian Jews only to
displace Palestinians.
