Scout Troup
Plans Events

Boy Scout Troop 14,
chartered to the Jewish Com-
munity Center, will have an
outdoor skills day Sunday
from 2 to 6 p.m. at Camp
Ruth, located behind the
Center. Included will be
teaching and practice of corn-
pass reading, fire building,
knot tying, lashing and camp
cooking.
At 1:30 p.m. April 16 the
troop will participate in a kite
flying day at the Highland
Recreation Area near Milford.
Each person must bring a
kite and string. There is a
charge. Members should meet
at the Maple/Drake Center.
The troop will camp out at
a local state park April 28-30.
there is a charge.
Scouting is open to boys 11
years old or who are 10 1/2 and
have completed fifth grade.
Boys completing Cub Scouts
are invited. The troop is also
seeking adults to work with
its members.

At Beth Shalom

The Jabotinsky Society of
Herut Zionists of America
will have its spring ball
festival celebrating the
liberation of Jerusalem, on
Sunday at 6 p.m. at Con-
gregation Beth Shalom.
