nounces Terran Leemis is the
chairman of this year's an-
nual patron campaign.
Mrs. Leemis is a Hillel
board member and a parent of
two Hillel children. She is the

JPI Conducts
Communal Seder

The Jewish Parents In-
stitute, an affiliate of the
Jewish Community Center of
Metropolitan Detroit, invites
the Jewish Community to its
annual Passover seder lun-
cheon noon April 16 in Shiff-
man Hall of the Maple/Drake
building.
The Haggadah used is writ-
ten by JPI parents, and the
seder is conducted by
students and adults from the
JPI. A choir will lead the
singing of traditional
Passover songs. Reservations
must be made by April 11.

1,000 trees located in the
American Independence Park

Machon Has
Campus Events

Machon Inbrah, the Jewish
Learning Network of
Michigan, will host a deli din-
ner for students and members
of the community at Central
Michigan University at 5 p.m.
Sunday.
The event will be held in
the Maroon Room of the
Bovee Student Center. Rabbi
Avraham Jacobovitz, director
of Machon L'Torah, will ad-
dress the topic "On Earth-
quakes, Airplane Disasters
and Terrorism . . . Does God
Observe or Participate?" Ad-
mission is free. For reserva-
tions, call the Machon office,

On April 9 at 11:30 a.m.,
the Machon will present,
"Eat, Drink and Be 'Marry' "
on the campus of Western
Michigan University. The
program will begin with
brunch, followed by a talk and
audio-visual presentation on
the subject of intermarraige.
This event will be held in
room 3205 of Sangrin Hall
and is open at no charge to
students and the community.
