The library remains open eight hours a week — 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sundays and Thursdays — following UHS budget cuts last spring. Before the cuts, the library was open 35 hours each week. Superintendent Ofra Fisher told the UHS board last week that a balanced budget had allowed for the change in Bell's hours. UHS has also asked for donations to help fund the library. Some $1,954 has been raised from dona- tions and art sales since library hours were curtailed. Jenny Goeree and her estranged husband Lucas stated repeatedly in a paper they printed that "the Jews brought the Holocaust upon themselves for rejecting Jesus as the messiah." The Leeuwarden court rendered its judgment after the Arnhem district court quashed a lower court deci- sion declaring the couple not guilty. Jenny Goeree said that despite the court's sentence, she will continue preaching that Jews deserved the Holocaust. Now Appearing: Lenin And Herzl Tel Aviv (JTA) — Israel's na- tional Habimah Theater and Moscow's famous Taganka Theater will exchange stages at the end of this year, under an artistic agreement signed earlier this month in Israel. Habimah will perform three Hebrew-language plays on the Taganka Theater stage in January. Two weeks later, the Taganka troupe will stage three Russian-language plays in the Habimah Theater in Tel Aviv. The venture was initiated by Yuri Lubimov, who served as Taganka's artistic director in Moscow until he im- migrated in 1983 to Israel. He now directs plays for Habimah.
