Spira-Karlinsky

Deborah Sue Karlinsky and
James Mitchell Spira were
recently married at the
Westin Hotel in Chicago.
Rabbi Joel Lehrfield
officiated.
The bride, daughter of Vi-
vian and Arnold Karlinsky of
Southfield, is a graduate of
Eastern Michigan University.
The bridegroom, on of Robert
Spira of Manhattan and the
late Nancy Spira, is a gradu-
ate of Indiana University. He
is a CPA and is attending
Loyola Law School in
Chicago.
The maid of honor was

Ellen Lipsky. Bridesmaids
were Leslie Spira sister of the
bridegroom, Francine Kap-
lan, Liz Levine, Inga Dix and
Paula Boyer of Atlanta, Ga.
The best man was Robert
Engstrom. Ushers were Paul
Karlinsky and Neal Karlin-
sky, brothers of the bride, and
Dan Callen, Alan Avcioglu,
Robert Gardner and Tod
Bokelman. Jeremy Froy of
Marrietta, Ga., was ring
bearer.
Following a honeymoon in
Kaui and Maui, the couple
are residing in Glenview.
