Schneider has created
numerous religious and
secular works in metropolitan
Detroit and across the United
States. Schneider is a
graduate of Cranbrook
Academy of Art in Bloomfield
Hills, was a Fulbright Scholar
in Italy and studied also in
Greece. His works appear in
galleries in Ohio, Florida and
at the Cantor-Lemberg
Gallery in Birmingham. A
retrospective of his sculpture
is being planned by the
Hebrew Union College in
Cincinnati.
The glass exhibit will be
open from 8:30 p.m. to 11:30
p.m., April 1, and from noon
to 5 p.m. April 2. The
weekend's events are being
sponsored by the cultural
commission of Beth Abraham
Hillel Moses, headed by
Chairman Bea Mondry. The
co-chairmen of the planning
committee are Sybil Mintz
and Charlotte Tessler. The
community is invited at no
charge.

Spring Art Fair
Due In April

The 11th annual Ann Ar-
bor Spring Art Fair will take
place April 1 and 2 at the
University of Michigan Track
and Tennis Bulding.
The fair will include 260 ar-
tists and craftsmen, from 24
states, who work in a variety
of media — paintings, jewelry,
sculpture, glass and more.
Artwork will be available for
purchase.
Hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
April 1 and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
April 2. There is an admis-
sion charge.
The show director is Audree
Levy.
