Au Revoir Les Enfants (Good-
bye Children), which will be
shown as part of the 10th an-
nual Conference on the
Holocaust at the University
of Michigan on Tuesday at 7
and 9:15 p.m., at Hillel, 1429
Hill.
The film is the winner of
seven French Cesars (in-
cluding Best Picture) and two
international Orsons, as well
as being nominated for
Academy Awards for Best
Foreign Picture and Best
Original Screenplay. There is
a charge, and tickets will be
available at the door.
Contest Winners
Give Concert
The Jewish Community
Center will feature a concert
of the winners of its 1989 An-
nual Michigan Young Musi-
cians Competition on April 5
at 8 p.m. in the Aaron DeRoy
Theater of the Maple/Drake
Center.
The first prize winner, An-
drew Song, 15, pianist, will
perform the works of Bach,
Beethoven, Chajes, Chopin
and Prokofieff.
The second prize winner,
Eddie Lim, 16, violinist, will
perform the music of
Chaussen and Cesar Frank.
Scott Holden, 17, pianist, and
the third-prize winner, will
perform the music of Chopin,
Prokofieff, Rachmaninoff and
Rollin.
The competition and con-
cert are sponsored in part by
the Jewish Community
Center, the Michigan Council
for the Arts, and the Charles
H. Gershenson Arts Fund. It
is open to the public, and
there is no admission fee.

Film Slated
B'nai B'rith Hillel Founda-

HBO Pictures, will present a
premiere preview screening of
Murdererss Among Us: The
Simon Wiesenthal Story on
Wednesday at 7 p.m. in
Auditorium A in Angell Hall
at the University of
Michigan.
The screening, which is part
of the 10th annual Con-
ference on the Holocaust at
the University of Michigan,
will be preceded by a brief
commemorative service.
