This is the 16th successive year that Israeli youngsters have traveled to meet teenagers in other countries and share views. This annual program of sending young people to other countries for dialogues was initiated by Israel in 1973. Participants are selected for their knowledge of timely issues and for their ability to talk about their daily lives. The group represents a cross section of Israeli youth: young men and women, secular and religiously observant young Jews, Israeli born Sabras and immigrants to Israel from all over the world. Their in- terests range from sport and Bible history through to music and computers. Continued on Page 108
