Melt the margarine in a large skillet, and slowly brown the chicken. Add the cherries to the skillet, and the pour the wine over everything. Cover the skillet, and simmer gent- ly until the chicken is tender, about 45 minutes. To serve, arrange the chicken in a ser- ving dish and put some of the cherries over and around the chicken. Pass the remaining sauce separately. Makes 6 servings. "TOFUTTI" CHOCOLATE BANANA PIE 1 cup quick oats 2 tablespoons brown sugar 1/2 cup finely chopped walnuts 1 /4 cup margarine, melted 1 medium banana, sliced 3 cups Chocolate/Vanilla Lite Lite Tofutti or Chocolate Supreme Tofutti Preheat oven to 350 °F. In a small bowl, combine oats, sugar, and walnuts. Add melted margarine and stir until dry ingredients are moistened. Press into the bot- tom and sides of a 9-inch pie pan, forming a crust. Bake for 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool completely on a wire rack. Spread the bottom of the cooled crust with the banana slices. Cover completely with softened Tofutti. Serve im- mediately or freeze until sery- ing time.
