% teaspoon paprika
6 chicken breast halves,
skin removed if desired
% cup margarine
1 (1-pound) can pitted dark
sweet cherries, drained
1 cup white wine
Combine the flour, salt, and
paprika, and use to coat the
chicken breasts. Melt the
margarine in a large skillet,
and slowly brown the
chicken. Add the cherries to
the skillet, and the pour the
wine over everything. Cover
the skillet, and simmer gent-
ly until the chicken is tender,
about 45 minutes. To serve,
arrange the chicken in a ser-
ving dish and put some of the
cherries over and around the
chicken. Pass the remaining
sauce separately. Makes 6
servings.

"TOFUTTI"
CHOCOLATE BANANA
PIE
1 cup quick oats
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1/2 cup finely chopped
walnuts
1 /4 cup margarine, melted
1 medium banana, sliced
3 cups Chocolate/Vanilla
Lite Lite Tofutti or
Chocolate Supreme
Tofutti
Preheat oven to 350 °F. In a
small bowl, combine oats,
sugar, and walnuts. Add
melted margarine and stir
until dry ingredients are
moistened. Press into the bot-
tom and sides of a 9-inch pie
pan, forming a crust. Bake for
10 minutes or until lightly
browned. Cool completely on
a wire rack.
Spread the bottom of the
cooled crust with the banana
slices. Cover completely with
softened Tofutti. Serve im-
mediately or freeze until sery-
ing time. Just before serving
garnish with shaved choco-
late or banana slices.

CASSEROLE
2 tablespoons minced
onion
2 tablespoons minced
green pepper
2 tablespoons butter or
margarine
2 cans (1 pound each)
Heinz Vegetarian
Beans in Tomato Sauce
2 to 3 slices American
cheese
Saute onion and green pep-
per in butter until vegetables
are tender. Combine with
beans in 1-quart casserole.
Bake in a 375 °F oven for 50
minutes, stirring occasion-
ally. 'Ibp with cheese slices.
Bake an additional 5 minues
or until the cheese is melted.
Makes 4 to 6 servings.
