Great Scott! Is Offering Cholesterol Testing
And Healthy Shopping Tours
Cholesterol Tests are being offered at Great Scott! Super-
markets on an appointment basis by Mount Clemens General
Hospital. There is a small charge of $5.00 per test. Each test
consists of analyzing your blood taken from the tip of your
finger. The results of the test are given to you in minutes,
WHILE YOU WAIT. Testing is available for those 10 years of
age and older.
Two stores offer the testing each week. Great Scott! locations
for the next few weeks are:
Groesbeck & Cass, Mt. Clemens. Grand River & Beech Da-
ly, Redford. Caniff & Mound, Detroit. University & Livernois,
Rochester Hills. 15 Mile & Telegraph, Bloomfield Township.
Ford Road & Telegraph, Dearborn Hts.
In addition, Great Scott! is proud to announce that registered
dietitians from the Macomb, Oakland, St. Clair Counties
Dietetic Association, and the Detroit Dietetic Association will
be offering supermaket tours at all Great Scott! Stores on a
rotating basis.
Each tour takes approximately 11/2 hours. A fee of $15.00 is
charged by the dietetic association conducting the tour in each
store. All participants will receive a special packet of Great Scott!
Coupons as well as literature on heart-healthy eating.
To reserve your spot for a Supermarket Tour, or to make an
appointment to have your cholesterol checked at the Great
Scott! Store nearest you call: 582-8008, Monday through Fri-
day between 9am and 5pm.
