Survived by a daughter, Mrs. Solomon (Sylvia) Segall; a brother, Morris Morowitz of New York City; a sister, Eva Morowitz of New York City; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. PHIL WEINMAN, 85, former Detroiter of Miami Fla., died Feb. 14. Survived by his wie, Celia; two daughters, Madelyn Saul of Miami and Sandra Saffer of Golden, Cola; a son, Martin of Aurora, Cola; grandchildren, great- grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Helen Wolson Helen Wolson, a member of Congregation B'nai Moshe for more than 60 years, died March 1 at age 89. Born in Czechoslovakia, Mrs. Wolson was one of the oldest active members of the congregation. She was a member of the sisterhood and worked in the gift shop of the synagogue. She leaves a son, Leonard; a daughter, Mrs. Rosaline Zimmerman of Ohio; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Mort Lieberman Morton David Lieberman, president of Dynamic In- dustries, died March 2 at age 68. Born in Detroit, Mr. Lieber- man was gradauted from Central High School in 1938 and received a B.A. degree from Northwestern Universi- ty in 1942. Following service in the Navy during World War II, Mr. Lieberman work- ed in the family business before starting the Princeton Shops in the 1940s. In 1961, he set up win- dhsield distributorships for Guardian Industries and was an executive of the company through 1972 when he left to pursue private investments. He was a financial consultant for the film, The Rosary Murders. and investor An businessman, Mr. Lieberman was a member of Franklin Hills Country Club, The Renaissance Club and Con- gregation Shaarey Zedek. Mr. Lieberman is survived by his wife, Mary Jean; a son, Arthur Forrest Tull II; and a daughter, Valarie Lieberman Tull. Joseph Gersten Joseph Gersten, owner of a dry cleaning establishment, died March 2 at age 83. Born in Hungary, Mr. Gersten was a member of Pisgah Lodge of B'nai B'rith and the Metropolitan Detroit Association of Dry Cleaners and Tailors. He also bowled with the B'nai B'rith Bowling League. A resident of St. Clair Shores at the time of her death, Miss Steinberg and her late sister Jeanette hosted the first meeting of the Detroit Hadassah chapter in their home. Hadassah founder Henrietta Szold was a guest at the historic meeting. Prior to leaving Detroit for New York and San Francisco, Miss Steinberg retained her membership in Hadassah, did secretarial work for com- munal leader Fred Butzel and served as a secretary and volunteer for the Hebrew Free Loan Association. She also was a member of the American Red Magen David for Israel and actively benefited the Jewish Associa- tion for Retarded Citizens and Jewish National Fund. While in New York, Miss Steinberg was the secretary and office manager for Kelley Kaufman, brother of the late Detroit funeral chapel owner, Ira Kaufman. Miss Steinberg leaves a brother, Myron of Detroit; and nieces and nephews.
