natural . . . but few places

Carlton . . . My waitress, very
pleasant and efficient
Christine Reynolds, brought
an excellent piece of poached
salmon on a plate that oozed
of colorful array . . . so pretty
. . . and everything just as
tasteful . . . Paul Jelinek,
catering and conference
manager at Ritz Carlton,
ordered tea and Christine
brought him a selection in a
box much like taking cigars
from a humidor.
FOOD FAXING has
become a big thing . . . Now
busy pizza afficianados won't
even have to talk on the
telephone to put in their
orders at the new Cottage Inn
Pizza on Orchard Lake Road
and Pontiac Trail in Wilkin's
Corner.
Like Uptown Deli, also on
Orchard Lake Road, the
eatery's facsimile machine
takes orders for the chain's
well-known specialties .. .
spicy Mediterranean and
Sicilian-style deep-dish tray
pizzas.
For those without Fax
machines, orders may also be
placed in the usual way by

Cottage Inn pizza has been
rated "Best Pizza in Ann Ar-
bor" for three years in a row
in polls conducted in the Ann
Arbor area.
The deep-dish, pan-style

pioneered at the Cottage Inn,

and is run by Stan Ramirez,
manager and operations
director with Manuel
Algarra. The chain currently
has 12 ... two more will open
soon in ghton

and Canton.
