Born into a musical family in Vienna, Falbel first sang songs of German Lieder and Yiddish and Hebrew folk songs. When she was two, her family moved to New York. She returned to Vienna for L study at the Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, and appeared on New York's off- I Broadway stages. Falbel has performed in seven languages: French, Spanish, English, German, Hebrew, Yiddish and Ladino.
