Brandeis University Na-
tional Women's Committee,
Greater Detroit Chapter, will
have its annual Brandeis
University on Wheels on
March 23 at Santia Hall,
1985 Cass Lake Rd., Keego
Harbor.
The day of seminars will
begin at 9:30 a.m. and con-
clude at 2:30 p.m. The
featured speakers are Dr.
Stephen Gendzier, associate
professor of French in the
Romance and comparative
literature department of
Brandeis University. His
topic will be "The Concept of
Tolerance in the French
Enlightenment: Women,
Jews and Blacks." Dr. Alan
Levitan, professor of English
at Brandeis University, will
speak on "Literature in
Changed Media: Drama into
Opera."

for the libraries of Brandeis
University. A current special
project of the women's com-
mittee is the treatment and
preservation of irreplaceable
print materials in the
libraries' holdings.
The program has been
planned by the University on
Wheels Program Committee
and Elaine Medwed, program
chairman. Chairmen of the
day are Ruth L. Cassel and
Joyce B. Klein. -
A continental breakfast and
a gourmet catered luncheon
will be served. There is a fee
