Legal Aid
Seminars Set

Southfield Legal Aid Ser-
vices will present the first in
a series of free legal seminars
on March 8 at 7 p.m. in the
Southfield City Council
Chambers, 26000 Evergreen
Rd.
Entitled "Drunk Driving
Laws," the opening seminar
will cover topics such as laws
and penalties applicable to
drunk driving; typical drunk
driving defenses; and police
use of breathalyzers and
sobriety tests. The panel' will
include Steven Kaplan,
Macomb County assistant
prosecuting attorney; defense
attorney Ronald Kaplovitz;
and an officer from the
Southfield Police
Department.
Other seminars will focus
on "Landlord/Tenant Law,"
April 12 and "Domestic Rela-
tions Law," May 17.
Each session will begin at 7
p.m. All seminars in the
series are free of charge, but
pre-registration is required.
