Starts A JSO

Lawrence Technological
University announces a
Jewish Students Organiza-
tion is being formed by stu-
dent Adina Blum.
The first meeting is set for
March 9 at noon at the tables
in the Buell Building. The ob-
jectives of the group will be
professional development,
Jewish educational and
cultural development. Plans
are in the works for a tour of
an architectural firm, a tour
of "Jewish Detroit," speakers
from the leadership of the
community and some Israel
awareness programs. For

Hillel Foundation at Wayne

and leave a message for Ms.
Blum. She will be a co-
chairman of the 1989-1990
student campaign.

Sports Night

the B'nai B'rith Hillel
Foundations of Metropolitan
Detroit will hold a sports
night at the Jewish Corn-
munity Center at 7:30 p.m.
March 4. Students at several
local schools are expected to
take part, including students
from Wayne State University,

Oakland University, Oakland
Community College,
Lawrence Technological
University, University of
Detroit Law and Dental
Schools and Walsh College.
All are welcome.
The program will include
basketball games, volleyball,
track, racquetball and hand-
ball with swimming facilities
available. At 10:30 the group
will move to rooms 131 and
132. Entertainment will be
provided by mind-reader Mel
Eisenberg. Refreshments will
be available.

Hillel Sets
Windsor Outing

The B'nai B'rith Hillel
Foundations of Metropolitan
Detroit and the University of
Windsor Hillel will sponsor
an international hayride on
Saturday night. U.S. students
will leave by bus from the 10
Mile Road Jewish Communi-
ty Center at 6:45 p.m.
Students must bring iden-
tification. There will be a
cash bar and a disc jockey.
There is a charge. Reserva-
tions are necessary. For infor-
