sas, Texas, died Feb. 5. She
leaves two sons, Dr. Herbert of
Corpus Christi, Texas, and
Harold of Ogden, Utah; a
daughter, Mrs. Lawrence
(Irene) Stuart of Prescott,
Ariz.; seven grandchildren
and six great-grandchildren.
Interment Detroit.

SADIE FISHER, 85, of Far-
mington Hills, died Feb. 2.
Survived by a nephew, Nor-
man Jaffee.

MARK FRIEDMAN, 80,
died Feb. 3. He leaves his wife,
Mary M.; two daughters, Mrs.
Daniel (Susan) Connor and
Mrs. Hoyt (Rosemary) Byrum
of Auburn, Ind.; two sisters,
Mrs. Bertha Schwartz and
Mrs. Helen Ross of St. Louis,
Mo.; and four grandchildren.

RACHEL SPILMAN
GRUN, former Detroiter of
Encino, Calif., died Jan. 28.
Survived by two brothers,
Bernard Spilman of Los
Angeles, Calif., and Emil
Spilman of West Bloomfield;
nieces and nephews.

HENRY HOCHMAN, 78, of
Oak Park, died Feb. 6. Surviv-
ed by two sisters, Alma and
Yetta; nieces, nephews, great-
nieces and great-nephews.

GEORGE ARTHUR
KLEINMAN, 91, of Califor-
nia, died Jan. 28. He leaves a
son, Sidney of Chicago, Ill.; a
daughter, Mrs. Phillip (Mary)
Bloom of Terra Bella, Calif.;
a brother, David of Oak Park;
a sister, Pillye Coane; seven
grandchildren and four great-
grandchildren. Interment

LAWRENCE LEONARD,
61, former Detroiter of
Cathedral City, Calif., died
Feb. 5. Survived by his wife,
Fay; two sons, Jeff of Hun-
tington Beach, Calif., and
David of Costa Mesa, Calif.; a
daughter, Wendy Sklar of
West Bloomfield; and three
grandchildren. Interment

BENNY SCHEINER, 97, of
Oak Park, died Feb. 7. Surviv-
ed by his wife, Pearl; a son,
Yitzchock of Israel; two
daughters, Mrs. Leah Nacha
Goldstein of Oak Park and
Mrs. Nosson (Chaya) Viski of
Israel; 18 grandchildren and
many great-grandchildren.

GLORIA SPINNER, 63, of
Southfield, died Feb. 7. Sur-
vived by her husband, Alex; a
son, Howard; a sister, Evelyn
Nathan of Randallstown, Md.

N.Y, died Feb. 1. She leaves
two sons, Dr. Milton of Buffalo
and Martin of South Lyon,
Mich.; a brother, Sam Fett-
man of California; and eight
grandchildren. Interment

NORMAN L. "BUD"
WEISMAN, 80, died Feb. 2.
He leaves a daughter, Ginger
Weisman Saunders of Boston,
Mass.; two grandchildren and
one great-granddaughter. In-
terment Dayton, Ohio.

Dr. Marvin Last

Dr. Marvin A. Last, a den-
tist, died Feb. 5 at age 78.
Born in New York, Dr. Last
was graduated from the
University of Marquette Den-
tal School in 1935. He receiv-
ed the city of Southfield's
Heart of Gold award in 1980.
Dr. Last was a former truan-
cy commissioner for the city
of Southfield. He was very ac-
tive in parent-youth guidance
activities in Southfield.
Dr. Last instituted the free
dental clinic at the McDon-
nell Towers in Southfield.
During World War II he serv-
ed as a captain. He was a past
president of the former Con-
gregation Beth Aaron.
He leaves a daughter, Mrs.
Beverly Greenspan; two
sisters, Mrs. Henrietta Eder
and Mrs. Harold (Sylvia) Ash;
and five grandchildren.

Citizens, died Feb. 5.
Born in New York, Mr. Mit-
teldorf lived many years in
Detroit prior to retiring to
Pompano Beach, Fla. He was
a founding member of the
Detroit Association for
Retarded Citizens. Mr. Mit-
teldorf was a member of Con-
gregation Beth Abraham
Hillel Moses, a member of
Temple Sholom in Pompano
Beach, a member of the 135th
Medical Regiment of the U.S.
Army during World War II.
He was the owner of the 60
Minute Cleaners in Detroit
for more than 30 years.
He leaves his wife, Sara; a
daughter, Barbara Lesa; a
brother, Al; two sisters, Mrs.
Frieda Smith and Mrs.
Lillian Fenberg. Interment
Detroit.
