Despite the many hardships and traumas of your life, you are loving
and good-natured, and have always found it in your heart to help those

As a young man you were subjected to much tragedy, including the
loss of your family. But, you survived to begin life again, with a new
family, in a new country. You started with a janitor's job, sweeping floors
at night and eventually you became a very successful businessman. You
have demonstrated to us by word and by deed what hard work, deter-
mination and faith in Jewish values can accomplish.
