Little Seedlings

Tu B'Shevat was center stage at the Jan. 22
community-wide celebration.

Songs, games, magic and stories were incorporated into the local
celebration of the New Year of the Trees. Hundreds turned out for the
Sunday afternoon event at the Jewish Community Center. Featured
entertainers included singer-songwriter Debbie Friedman, storyteller
Corinne Stavish and magician Howard Faber...
The celebration was sponsored by The Jewish News L'Chayim
section, Jewish Experiences For Families, Jewish National Fund, and
the Labor Zionist Institute — Labor Zionist Alliance, Na'amat U.S.A.
and Habonim/Dror.
