Sheila Levine

you have the memories, but it's
the video and the pictures that
keep it alive,' she said.
"It's something that I would
highly recommend to anybody
getting married. We've watched it
over and over again. I never get
tired of seeing it because I always
see and hear something different,"
she said.
In regards to overall
preparation, she said that she felt
more comfortable making them
with only three months to spare
versus a year s engagement.
"It probably made Sue
Gordon's people nervous, the
invitation lady nervous, and
everyone else involved, but we
weren't because we know that we
had hired the best," she said.
The invitations were simple
and elegant the flowers were from
Silk & Morgan, the caterer from
Shaarey Zedek, the band Jerry
Ross and a special appearance by
Detroit's own up-and-coming Jazz
artist, Ortheia Barnes.
"The overall mood of the
wedding was warm and loving," she
said
"We had a large wedding
(200), but we had all of the people
who loved us and whom we loved."
Sheila said the week before
the wedding she continued
working, kept calm, and looked
forward to the glorious occasion.
"I wasn't nervous, or afraid;'
she said.
"I knew that it was right, and
I knew that way before the actual
event."
She said the wedding was
traditional, opposite of what she
originally wanted.
"I didn't want showers or the
traditional wedding dress or the
longer aisle at Shaarey Zedek;' she
recalled.
"I didn't want all of the
glamour, but I got it anyways, and
I'm happy I had a loving family
and friends who told me I should
do it that way — the best, and we
did:"
