B'nei Akiva To Have
Second Family Dinner

Members of the B'nei
Akiva-Young Israel youth
movement, families and
friends are invited to the se-
cond annual B'nei Akiva
family dinner to be held Sun-
day at Young Israel of Oak-
Woods at 5 p.m. The dinner is
held in honor of all B'nei
Akiva members for the
1988-1989 term. There will be
a special ceremony with
presentations to each of the
members. Also scheduled for
the program will be perfor-
mances by the Rokdot Dance
Troupe, under the direction of
Nancy Berman, the B'nei
Akiva Players, directed by
Abby Eisenberg and Yariv
Misgav, and the B'nei Akiva
Choir, led by Noam Koenigs-
berg and Danny Najman. For

The Chevreyah Bet
Chapter, youth in grades
nine-12, will attend the open-
ing night performance of the
Tony Award-winning musical,
Anything Goes performed by
the Village Players of Birm-
ingham, meeting at Young
Israel of Southfield at 7:30
p.m. on Saturday. This event
is by advance reservation
only.
The Chevreyah Zach
Chapter, for youth in grades
six-eight will have an ice

skating party on Jan. 29. The
group will meet at Young
Israel of Southfield at 3:45
p.m. for departure to the Com-
puware Ice Arena. Refresh-
ments will be served follow-
ing the event. For informa-

The Chevreyah Aleph
Chapter for youth in grades
one-five will have a Sundae
Surprise on Jan. 29 at 2 p.m.
at Young Israel of Southfield.
Special entertainment and
treats are planned. For infor-

The B'nei Akiva-Young
Israel Kvutzot Shabbat
groups will meet this
weekend at 4 p.m. Saturday
at Young Israel of Greenfield,
and at 3:30 p.m. at Young
Israel of Southfield. Games,
stories, songs and contests are
planned for this week's Tu
B'Shevat theme. Walking
groups can be arranged by
contacting the B'nei Akiva
youth counselors.
Applications for this year's
Camp Stone Reunion are now
being accepted. The reunion
will take place in Cleveland,
Ohio, Feb. 3-5 and is open to
youth in grades four-10.
Space is limited. Contact the

West Bloomfield/Farmington
Hills area, held its first elec-
tions. Officers are: Howard

programming); Joey Schock,
aleph s'gan shaynee (vice
president of membership);

(treasurer); Marty Auster,
