Sisterhood Sets
January Event

Temple Israel Sisterhood's
upcoming January special
entertainment program is
"Behind Closed Doors,"
everything you always
wanted to know about home
decorating but were afraid to
ask!
The event will he held Jan.
23, at 10:30 a.m. Those atten-
ding will meet at Walter Herz
Interiors, 350 Pierce St.,
Birmingham.
Diane Fishman, interior
designer, will conduct a tour
of the design center.
Janie Roth, program vice
president, Marlene Swarin
and Karen Erlich, special
entertainment committee,
made the arrangements for
the event.

Beth El will host a party
planning showcase in the
temple's Handleman Hall
from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on
Jan. 29.
Free to the public, vendors
representing florists, bands,
limousine companies, cater-
ers, confectioners, room
decorators and party planners
will be on hand to answer
questions and provide infor-
mation. Directories contain-
ing the names of par-
ticipating vendors will be
given free of charge to all who
attend.
