is pretty but "her feet aren't
as pretty as the rest of her,"
that is, she must be more
precise. But he adds that her
work habits are "not bad. She
trains pretty hard; she's sen-
sible about it."
The goal for next season,
says Dalby, is a top-four finish
at the Midwestern Cham-
pionships and a trip to the
Junior Nationals. The Olym-
pics are "the ulimate goal"
for any skater, says Dalby. It's
too early to say how strong -
Attenson's chances are, but
dancers can perform at their
peak into their late 20's, so
Attenson has time.
While Attenson's sights are
set on Mt. Olympus, her head
is not in the clouds. "It's go-
ing to probably take a couple
more years for ine to be notic-
ed" as a dancer, she says. But
she adds, confidently, "I will
definitely be noticed." ❑

A Sno-Ball softball tourna-
ment will be played at Canton
Softball Center, Jan. 28 and
29 (co-ed teams) and Feb. 4
and 5 (men's and women's
teams).
Last year over 100 teams
participated in the event,
which benefits the March of
Dimes.
Sno-Ball softball is played
on regulation softball fields in
the snow using orange soft-
balls and orange traffic cones
for bases. Women's, men's and
co-ed teams compete in the
double-elimination tourna-
ment. The teams, made up of
players 18 years and older,
make a donation to the
March of Dimes to
participate.
For information, contact the
March of Dimes, 423-3232.
