"Jesus and the Judaism of
His Time" will be the topic of
a talk by former Detroiter
Prof. Irving Zeitlin to be
delivered for the B'nai B'rith
Hillel Foundation at Wayne
State University at noon
Wednesday. The talk will be
given in the Leonard Simons
conference room of the Hillel
center, room 661. Prof.
Zeitlin's appearance in
Detroit is sponsored by the
American Jewish Committee.
Zeitlin is a professor of
sociology at the University of
Toronto. He is the author of
eight books, including An-
cient Judaism. He received
his bachelor's and first
master's degrees from Wayne
State University, a second
master's and PhD. degrees
from Princeton University.
He has taught at Kwansi
Gakuin University in
Nishinomiya, Japan; at the
University of Leicester in
England; at Goucher College,
and Indiana University.
He was a post-graduate
fellow at the Centre National
de al Recherche Scientifique
in Paris. He also serves as the
assistant diector and prin-
cipal of the Shalom Aleichem
Institute in Detroit.

Wolin Accepted
At Gallaudet

Susan Wolin, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wolin of
Oak Park has been accepted
at one of 10 students in the
master's program for counsel-
ing the deaf at Gallaudet
University in Washington,
D.C.
Susan is a graduate of
Eastern Michigan University
with a bachelor of science
degree in child and family
development. She lives in
Arizona, where she has been
studying sign language.
