Sinai Re-Elects Thal

the bridegroom. Amy Beth
Gross, cousin of the bride, was
the flower girl.
The best man was Craig
Winkelman. The ushers were
Steven Dines, Allen Eren-
baum, Ross Foner, Jeff Spin-
ner, Len Weinberger, and
Alan Stillman, brother of the
bride.
Following a honeymoon in
Spain and Portugal, the cou-
ple is residing in Silver
Springs, Md.
Noreen E. Stillman and
Scott L. Winkelman were
married in September at Mat
Shalom Synagogue. Rabbi
Efry Spectre and Cantor
Larry Vieder officiated.
The bride is the daughter of
Rita and Donald Stillman of
Tucson, Arizona. Parents of
the bridegroom are Rissa and
Sheldon P. Winkelman of
West Bloomfield.

The Sinai Hospital of
Detroit Board of Trustees re-
elected Bruce E. Thal chair-
man at its December meeting.
The board also re-elected vice
chairmen Merle A. Harris,
Marvin Fleischman and
Thomas I. Klein.
Other officers re-elected for
1988, were: Carolyn Green-
berg formerly secretary of the
board, vice chairman, and
Richard F. Roth, formerly
treasurer of the board, vice
chairman.
Marvin Novick was elected
board vice chairman.
Newly appointed board
members include: David
Aronow, Florine Mark, Peter
Alter, Dr. Richard Krugel, Dr.
Jerrold Weinberg, and Dr. Eli
Brown. Drs. Krugel,
Weinberg and Brown are
members of the Sinai
Hospital medical staff.
Thal has served on Sinai's
board of trustees since 1982.
He previously served as
Sinai's finance committee
chairman and as treasurer.
Bruce Thal
He was elected chairman of
the board in 1986.
Thal is on the board of
governors of the Jewish
Welfare Federation and on
the board of United Jewish
Charities. He is also affiliated
with the Federation Com-
munity Services Division and
the Jewish Vocational
Service.
