Barbara Stollman, of Bir-
mingham, chairman of the
Metro Detroit State of Israel
Bond Women's Division since
1986, has been named na-
tional chairman of the
Women's Division of the State
of Israel Bond campaign.
Mrs. Stollman has served
the Women's Division as
Metro Detroit chairman of
the Sponsor Society. Addi-
tionally, she was co-chairman
of the 1985 Israel Bond Na-
tional Leadership Conference
held in Detroit.
She is a member of the
boards of the Women's Divi-
sion of the Jewish Welfare
Federation of Detroit; Bar-
Ilan University, Detroit
Chapter; the Anti-
Defamation League; the
Detroit Soviet Jewry Commit-
tee of the Jewish Community
Council; the Jewish Family
Service and the sisterhood of
Congregation Shaarey Zedek,
where she was a member of
the 1985-1986 bat mitzvah
class.
She is the immediate past
president of American
Women for Bar-Ilan, Detroit
Chapter, has served as a
member of the boards of the
Barbara Stoll man
Jewish Association for
Retarded Citizens, the Hillel
Day School and the United
Hebrew Schools, and is a
member of Hadassah,
Women's American ORT, Na-
tional Council of Jewish
Women and League of Jewish
Women's organizations. Mrs.
Stollman also has held
numerous leadership posi-
tions in the Metro Detroit
Women's Division of the
Allied Jewish Campaign.
NCJW Series To Focus
On Eating Disorders
The National Council of
Jewish Women, Greater
Detroit Section, will offer the
second program of a four-part
health series on Jan. 10 from
11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. At that
time the community is in-
vited to take part in a pro-
gram on eating disorders and
nutrition.
Dr. Elliot Luby will speak
on "Anorexia and Bulimia."
Dr. William Nagler will
discuss "Eating Properly."
There is a fee which in-
cludes lunch. The session will
take place at the NCJW of-
fices, 30233 Southfield,
Southfield.
Subsequent programs will
examine drug and substance
abuse at 10 a.m. Feb. 8 and
breast cancer at 10 a.m. Mar.
8.
The events have been
organized by the section's
membership and program
department headed by Vice
President Sally Green.
Geraldine Pasternak is chair-
man of the health series, and
Roberta Grosinger is serving
as vice chairman. Bobbie
Blitz, Elaine Koshar, Lenora
Noler and Phyllis Young will
assist with arrangements.

For Luncheon
