The senior adult depart-
ment of the Jewish Com-
munity Center will present a
pre-New Year celebration in
the Jaffe Hall of the Jimmy
Prentis Morris Building at 1
p.m. on Dec. 30.
This event will include
refreshments and a five-piece
band. There is no charge.
Rita Haddow, activities

committee, will coordinate
volunteers and decorations.

Film On Sunday

The senior adult depart-
ment of the Jimmy Prentis
Morris Building of the Jewish
Community Center will show
the movie, When My Baby
Smiles at Me on Sunday at 2
p.m. in the JPM assembly
hall.
The fifth program in the
monthly series, "Let's Talk
With Jewish Leaders New To
Our Community," will feature
Rabbi Elliot Pachter,
associate rabbi of Adat
Shalom Synagogue. He will
speak on Tuesday at 1 p.m. in
the JPM assembly hall.
Following the lecture, the se-
cond part of the movie, The
Helen Morgan Story will be
shown.
The Yiddish Culture Club
will be entertained by Lou
Bernstein and Hy Pritz on
Thursday at 12:30 p.m. in
Jaffe Hall.
Irving Herman will lead a
current events discussion
group at the Press Review on
Thursday at 12:30 p.m. in
room 15 of the JPM.
