Itkeh must choose between them. However, love of life dominates: Sam, Itkeh, and the range of characters they represent, show the energy of their struggles to find their ways in their old and new worlds. Last year, LaZebnik's drama The Billiard Game was presented at the Potter Center Theater in Jackson, Mich. Later the play ap- peared at the Athletic Club in New York. I NEWS 1 Orthodox March Over Exemptions Jerusalem (JTA) — Hun- dreds of Orthodox Jews who served in the armed forces demonstrated in Jerusalem recently against widespread criticism of the exemptions from compulsory military ser- vice given to yeshivah students. The reserve officers and soldiers conducted a march to the prime minister's office to show that the Orthodox are an integral part of the securi- ty force. Yeshivah students and other religious Jews, mean- while, have decided to volunteer for armed patrols to secure the old Jewish cemetery on the Mount of Olives after dark. There has been a rash of vandalism at the cemetery. About 100 tombstones have been desecrated this year, ap- parently by Arabs. Fill 'Er Up On The Go Tel Aviv (JTA) — Israel Air- craft Industries is producing a "flying tanker" it claims is a breakthrough in the tech- nology of in-flight refueling. The new aircraft, based on the Boeing 707 passenger jet, can refuel three aircraft at a time in flight. It also can keep 10 jet fighters aloft within a radius of 1,000 nautical miles from base, filling their tanks in three to five minutes each, according to IAI's repair divi- sion, which developed and is producing the tanker. It is adaptable to all types of aircraft in use in the Israel, American and other Western air forces, IAI said. open tuesdays thru sundays 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. lincoln shopping center, 10 1/2 mile & greenfield, oak park All you can eat pizza, salad and pasta ❑ packages specially plann ed for your or more.
