Endowment Fund and the
Music Study Club's Sally
Allan Alexander Fund for
Senior Citizens will sponsor
44 seniors who wish to attend
a Detroit Symphony Or
chestra Coffee Concert at a
nominal charge today.
At 12:30 p.m. today, Cantor
Max Shimansky of Congrega-
tion Beth Achim will light the
seventh Chanukah candle at
the Erev Shabbos program in
Jaffe Hall.
On Tuesday, film critic and
Prof. Dan Greenberg will
discuss the book, A World of
Their Own: How The Jews In-
vented Hollywood by Neil
Gabler. The lecture will take
place in the JPM assembly
hall at 1 p.m.

JPI Chanukah
Party Sunday

The Jewish Parents In-
Celebrate
will
stitute
Chanukah at the
Maple/Drake building of the
Jewish Community Center.
The celebration will begin at
10:15 a.m. in the Aaron
DeRoy Theater where
students will participate in'
an original candlelighting
ceremony followed by skits,
dances and songs. Communi-
ty singing will be part of the
mornfng's program.
At 11:15 a.m., the celebra-
tion will continue in Shiff-
man Hall, where latkes will
be served. Children will then
be able to participate in
Chanukah-related crafts ac-
tivities. Chanukah gelt and
dreidels will be given to all
children.

The group, which is com-
prised of older widowed
women, focuses on readings
and discussions that enhance
self-esteem, deal with the
grieving process and promote
individual self-reliance. •

The Culture Club program
on Thursday will feature
entertainment by Eileen

group called the "Press
Review" at 12:30 p.m. Thurs-
