Choral Group
To Entertain

The choral group of Music
Study Club of Metropolitan
Detroit will perform for the
senior citizen residents in
nursing homes and senior
facilities during December.
On Monday, the group will
perform at Cambridge South
Nursing Home in Birm-
ingham at 1:30 p.m. On Dec.
19 it will entertain at McDon-
nell Thwers at 1 p.m.
The choral program will
consist of a variety of melodic,
holiday songs directed by
Treva DeJong and accom-
panied by Jacquelyn
Wagoner, pianist.
The Choral Group, spon-
sored by Music Study Club,
consists of 25 women who en-
joy singing. It rehearses every
Monday at 10 a.m. at
Southfield Parks and Recrea-
tion Building, room 224.
Adult women of all ages are
invited to join. Contact Ann
Ross, 544-2589, for
information.

Simcha Plans
Holiday Event

Simcha, the supportive
organization in southeastern
Michigan for Jewish lesbians
and gays, is still taking reser-
vations for its Chanukah par-
ty on Sunday at 5 p.m.
Those interested in atten-

Post, Auxiliary
To Have Party

The Charles Shapiro Post
and Auxiliary will conduct
their annual Chanukah par-
ty on Saturday at 7 p.m. at
the Jewish War Veterans
Memorial Home.
There will be food, enter-
tainment, prizes and movies.
