Event Dec. 14

The Jewish Welfare Federa-
tion and its member agencies
will present the second an-
nual Agency Leadership
Awards at a dessert reception
and program Dec. 14.
Set for 7:30 p.m. at
Knollwood Country Club, the
event is a tribute to JWF
agency board members.
Federation/Agency Educa-
tion Committee Associate
Chairman Lauren Liss will
preside, and agency
presidents will present the
awards. JWF President Dr.
Conrad L. Giles will bring
greetings from Federation
and introduce a locally-
produced Allied Jewish Cam-
paign video tape "You Make
the Difference."
Agency Leadership Award
recipients include Pola Fried-
man, Fresh Air Society; Paul
A. Hack, Hebrew Free Loan
Association; Rita Haddow,
Jewish Community Center;
Howard Wallach, Jewish
Community Council; Maida
Portnoy, Jewish Family Ser-
vice; Michael B. Perlman,
Jewish Federation Apart-
ments; Lester S. Burton,
Jewish Home for Aged; Amy
