received a Tony nomination
for his performance in Woody
Allen's The Floating Light
Bulb.
"It was a bittersweet play,
a comedy-drama, like Rap-
paport," he says. "I didn't win
the Ibny, but not winning
really and truly didn't matter.
The nomination alone was
marvelous?'
