Alicia earned her bachelor's degree in business manage- ment from Arizona State University, and her Master's of business Administration degree fromWayne State University. LOCAL NEWS I Winter Classes To Begin At Both Center Buildings Educational service depart- ment of the Jewish Com- munity Center will start its winter semester of classes the week of December 4. In addi- tion to the classes listed in the winter brochure, new classes will be added in the art department. Drawing and collage classes for children 7 to 9 years old will be taught. Creative em- broidery and collage classes will be offered for adults. A critique will follow each ses- sion and slides of works of various artists in the field will be shown to the class. The classes will be taught by Maria-Theresa Fernandes of Nairobi, Kenya, who was educated in London, England. She is the winner of numerous awards here and abroad. Ms. Fernandes has exhibited all over the world, and is featured in many private collections inter- nationally. An experimental watercolor class will be taught by Sally Kaplan.
