!ENTERTAINMENT I Yiddish Night Is Planned The Readers Theater will bring to life "Treasures of Jewish Literature and Song," in English and Yiddish at Yiddish Night at the annual Jewish Book Fair on Nov. 19 at 8 p.m. at the Maple/Drake Jewish Community Center. Readers Theater revives the traditional art form of short story reading with a focus on literature of Jewish interest or authorship. The program will also include some Yid- dish folk songs. The cast will include: Shirley Benyas, who has just appeared in Follies at the Fisher Theater; David Fox, recently seen in Amadeus at Meadow Brook; Evelyn Or- bach, currently directing the Jewish Ensemble Theater at the Jewish Center; Liz Weiss, recipient of the 1988 Life Achievement Award from the American Women in Radio and Television; and Rube Weiss, television and theater personality. Smith has been named recipient of the 1988 National Human Relations Award by the Greater Detroit Interfaith Round Table of the National Conference of Chris- tians and Jews.
