donation and Jack wrote out
a fat $100,000 check to the
unfortunate kids . . . Couple
of weeks ago, Johnny and
Jack met the father of
youngster in the hospital
with a brain tumor . . . No
time at all and they were in
Jack's
his room . . .
autographed picture and
baseball are now cherished
treasures of the child.
EIGHT LOCAL high
school students have been
given several thousand
pounds of yarn to distribute to
volunteer knitters and
crocheters . . . Purpose is to
make hats for Detroit's needy
. .. Volunteers are needed for
