ON CAMPUS Kresge Grant To U-M Hillel A grant of $250,000 toward the construction of the new University of Michigan Hillel Center has been approved by the Kresge Foundation. In order to receive the grant, the new center must be fully funded by June 1989. In- itiated in 1987, the fund- raising campaign is moving toward its $4.65 million goal as the new building nears completion, with $3.8 million slated for the building, and $850,000 for endowed pro- grams. A formal dedication is planned for early December. The 27, 589-square-foot structure will include a multi- purpose "great hall" that can seat up to 600, a kitchen, of- fices, study areas, classrooms and a Sabbath elevator.
