Make-A-Wish
Benefit Slated

A Halloween dance party to
benefit the work of the Make-
A-Wish Foundation will take
place at the Hyatt Regency
Hotel in Dearborn on Oct. 28.
A costume contest will take
place at the event, with prizes
to be awarded.
The party will take place
from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. in the
Hyatt's Great Lakes
Ballroom. There is a charge.
The Make-A-Wish Founda-
tion grants the wishes of
Michigan children ages 17
and under who suffer from
terminal or life-threatening
illnesses. Since 1984, the
Make-A-Wish Foundation of
Michigan has granted more-
than 145 wishes. Nationally,
Make-A-Wish Foundations
have granted more than 3,000
wishes since the organization
began in 1980.
