Ben-Gurion Elects Officers The Ben-Gurion Club, which meets at the Jimmy Prentis Morris Building of the Jewish Community Center recently held its an- nual election of officers. Elected were: Irwin For- man, president; Sam Kleiman and Sam Brodsky, vice presidents; Esther Fishman, treasurer and secretary. The club meets noon daily and is seeking new members. Flu Shots Are Available The Oakland County Health Department will offer flu shots at the Jewish Com- munity Center's Jimmy Pren- tis Morris Building on Oct. 31 at 1 p.m. This year's vaccine protects against three viral strains, A/Taiwan, A/Sichuan and B/Victoria. There is a charge per shot; however, no one will be turned away because of in- ability to pay. Persons will have the opportunity to read and sign an informed consent form. GRAND OPENING Morris Building at about 10 a.m., to take them to exercise classes, mah jongg games, lec- tures, movies, Bible study, entertainment and special programs. A federally-funded kosher hot lunch program is offered as well as soup and sand- wiches from the Koffee Klatch. There is a nominal fee, but no one will be refus- ed transportation because of inability to pay. The schedule is as follows: Monday, Southfield, Detroit; Tuesday, Oak Park; Wednes- day, Northwest Detroit, Oak Park, Royal Oak Southfield, Berkley; and Friday, Oak Park, Berkley, Royal Oak.
