Don't know of any disease researcher that has made a definite claim like this . . . He is working with Dr. Zvi Bentwich of the Kaplan Institute in Israel. So the bottom of March of Dimes letterheads will have to be changed . . . regarding it being the only organization to cure a disease (think about that). On a • shoestring budget, Bentwich and colleagues developed several drugs which have been found to in- hibit the spread of AIDS in patients . . . One was suc- cessfully tested do many U.S. AIDS victims who came to him for help . . . Due to lack of funds, he sold the rights to an American pharmaceutical firm two years ago. Helping him with his work the friends of Kaplan Medical Center are expecting about 2,000 people at $50 each for their benefit on behalf of AIDS research at Kaplan In- stitute . . .
