at the Jimmy Prentis Mor-

For Families and the Jewish
Community Center, the pro-
gram was based on the Bible
story of Noah which was last
week's Torah portion.
More than 800 parents
and children moved from
room to room, creating
crafts projects which became
pages of a book for each
child to take home. Gemini

provided songs about
animals, Joyce Epstein told
stories and Bruce Franco
created animal balloons for
the youngsters.
One of the highlights of
the afternoon was the ar-
madillos, woodchucks, boa
constrictors, green snakes;
parrots and tucans provided
— two by two — by Pets 'N
Things in Saline.
"The idea behind the pro-
gram was to give parents
quality time with their kids
based on the Noah theme
and the Jewsh way to care
for animals," said JEFF
coordinator Harlene Ap-
pelman. ❑

Clapping to the music are Kathy and Maya Ozery.

Avi Pesis holds a page from his book.

The kids enjoyed Gary Davidoff as Noah.
