Dr. and Mrs. Conrad
(Florence) Goode take
pleasure in announcing the
forthcoming marriage of their
daughter, Beth Ann Sand-
weiss, to Aaron Issar Back,
son of Dr. and Mrs. Nathan
(Toby Ticktin) Back of Buffalo,
N.Y. Beth is also the daughter
of the late Bertrand
Sandweiss.
Beth attended the Jewish
Theological Seminary and
graduated from N.Y.U. She
has a master's degree in-
psychology and is working
with the Ministry of Educa-
tion in Israel. Aaron
graduated from Antioch Col-
lege and is finishing his work
on a Ph.D. while on a grant in
Jerusalem. A spring wedding
is planned.

Jerry and Rivian Altschul
of Scottsdale, Ariz., are pleas-
ed to announce the engage-
ment of their daughter,
Joanne, to James Inglis, son
of James and Mary Inglis of
Livonia.
Ms. Altschul earned her
bachelor's degree in urban
sociology from Michigan
State University and is work-
ing toward a master's degree
in public administration. She
is employed with the U.S.
Department of Housing and
Urban Development.
Her fiance earned his
bachelor's degree in public
administration from Ferris
State University and is also
working toward a master's
degree in public administra-
tion. He is the executive
director of the Livonia Hous-
ing Commission.
An October wedding is
planned.
