Accountants Set
Annual Seminar

Accountant's Unit will hold
its annual all-day seminar on
Oct. 18 at Adat Shalom
Synagogue, beginning at 8:30
a.m.
The speakers will include
Burt Spalding, Sandra Gill
Penn, Glenn Warsh, Margaret
Malone-Merriman, Gregory
Coursen, John Walgren and
Erwin Rubinstein. Attendees
are eligible for eight hours of
continuing professional
education accounting and
auditing credit.
The luncheon speaker will
be Russ Small, sportscaster
from WXYT radio.

and there is a charge. For

40th annual dinner of the
chapter at 6:15 p.m. Oct. 20 at
Congregation Shaarey Zedek.
The awards are special cer-
tificates calligraphed in
Israel, signed by the presi-
dent of the Technion, and
specifically designated to
recognize and salute the
founders and pioneers of the
Detroit Chapter.

Are Offered

Health Division will offer
three series of classes begin-
ning in October at the
Southfield office, ,27725
Greenfield, Southfield.
Expectant parent classes
will be held at 7 p.m.
Tuesdays beginning Oct. 11
and will be taught by public
health nurses.
A series of six diabetes
classes will be held on-
Thursdays at 7 p.m. begin-
ning Oct. 13.
A series of six blood
pressure control classes will
be held on Tuesdays at 7 p.m.
beginning Oct. 18.
All classes are free, but pre-
registration is required. For
