Studies, in Jerusalem.
Before coming to the
Yeshiva Gedolah, he worked

AND ROBERT TAM were
awarded Army achievement
medals for "Meritorious ser-
vice rendered from Sept. 11 to
Oct. 3, 1987." Their Army
Reserve unit ; the 323rd
General Hospital, was
deployed to the Netherlands
for the reforger exercises of
1987. Dr. Hecker was chief
department of surgery and
Dr. Tam, chief of emergency
services and ambulatory care.
The 323rd General Hospital
is based in Southfield and
drills the first weekend of
every month.
