Stephen Dubov, an actor,
singer and dancer who has
had featured roles on Broad-
way and in Hollywood films,
will be the guest entertainer
at the Tam-O-Shanter Coun-
try Club Israel Bond dinner
honoring Dr. David Jacknow
at the club at 7 p.m. Oct. 8.
Dubov has been seen on
Broadway in the hit musicals
Shenandoah and The Most
Happy Fella. He 'toured na-
tionally with Zorba and The
Pirates of Penzance and

Stephen Dubov

played major roles in The
Music Man, Finian's Rain-
bow, Peter Pan and Superman.
He has appeared in many ma-
jor Hollywood films including
Saturday Night Fever, Kramer
vs. Kramer and Fatal Attrac-
tion. Dubov has also perform-
ed at resort hotels in Atlantic
City and Las Vegas.
Dubov has served as a can-
tor in Florida, New York and
New Jersey. He has just com-

pleted a one-year program of
cantorial singing at the
Hebrew Union College in
Jerusalem.

Travelogue Due

B'nai B'rith Metropolitan
Detroit Council will offer its
members a free monthly
travelogue beginning Oct. 11.
Sessions will be held at
Southfield Civic Center at 8
p.m. on Tuesday evenings.
First three scheduled
travelogues will include
"Russia," Oct. 11; "Israel,"
Dec. 6; and "Cruising," Nov.
15. Prizes and light refresh-
ments will highlight the
evening.

Dance Lessons

B'nai B'rith Metropolitan
Detroit Council will host
group ballroom dance lessons
beginning Thursday at 7 and
8 p.m. at Adat Shalom
Synagogue, lower level. Pro-
fessional instruction will be

instructor from the Barry
Douglas Dance Art Studio.
Non-members welcome at a
slightly higher fee.
