In some cases, we will be building on pre-
vious strengths: A Federation Women's Divi-
sion whose education and leadership-develop-
ment programs are renowned throughout the
nation. An Israel mission program that has
deepened Jewish involvement for hundreds of
participants. Innovative education programs
provided by agencies, synagogues and organi-
zations.
All of these will benefit from the establish-
ment of Federation's Leadership Development
Department. This ambitious new undertaking
will take advantage of the abundance of "peo-
ple power" our community has been blessed
with. From creating a personal sense of Jewish
identity to developing leadership, each will
contribute toward the creative survival of our
People.
