State Bar Honors Silver
As 50-Year Member

Attorney Anne Gonte Silver
was honored this week at
Cobo Hall at the Michigan
State Bar 53rd annual con-
vention as a 50-year member
of the State Bar of Michigan.
She is a graduate of Wayne
State University Law School.
She is still actively engaged
in the practce of law, specializ-
ing in probate matters. She is
of counsel with the law firm
of Small and Berris of
Southfield.
Mrs. Silver is the chairman
of the 55th Balfour Celebra-
tion Concert of the Zionist
Organization of America,
Metro Detroit District, for
which she serves as vice presi-
dent. She was elected an
honorary national vice presi-
dent of the Zionist Organiza-
tion of America.
In 1986 she was honored by
the Women Lawyers Associa-
tion of Michigan "for advanc-
ing the cause of women in the
legal profession." In 1978, she
was honored by the Oakland
