Hoffman of Ridgewood.
Ushers were Joe Hoffman and
Dan Hoffman of Ridgewood
and Jeff Frankenstein of
Boston.
Following a luncheon at the
Plaza Marriott Hotel, the cou-
ple left for a honeymoon in
Maui, Hawaii. They make
their home in Chicago.

B'nai Mitzvah

Steve Bocknek, son of
Cheryl and Marc Bocknek,
and Jonathon Grandin, son of
Barbara and Stanley Gran-
din, celebrated their b'nai
mitzvah Saturday with their
Soviet twin, Maxim
Yankelevich, at Temple
Israel.
Maxim's family applied for
emigration to Israel in
January 1980. They have
been refused exit visas
because Soviet authorities
said they felt Maxim's father
had access to "state secrets."
Steve and Jonathon wrote to
Maxim but have not received
any confirmation that any let-
ters were received.
